Symbolic Frame Wiki Questions
1. To what degree are the mission and vision statements employed?

The mission and vision statements in the symbolic frame at Pico really weren't a key focus. More time was spent on what the new prinipal was doing and why it was wrong. Pico should have used the mission and vision statements as a guide to bringing the staff back together and to remember whats the most important reasons for being a teacher and teaching at Pico meant. Every school is different and therefore, the vision and mission statements hold a different amount of meaning from school to school. The staff has to believe in the statements and their daily routine needs to include examples of how they are using the statements within the school and their classrooms.
